The property will be left unlocked for you with 2 sets of keys hanging on the key hooks inside.

Yes. Each house has its own designated parking area.

The nearest town is Alfreton which has a 24 hour Tesco which is 10 minutes drive away.

The local village of Shirland and South Wingfield have their own shops which are some 5 minutes drive away. (30 minute walk)

The Amber Hotel is the nearest pub which serves drinks.

The Peacock Inn and The White Hart at Moorwood Moor are the most local restaurants.

For other eateries see “local information” folder in your property.

The TVs in the lounge has Sky TV.  The TVs in the bedrooms receive Freeview.

DVD players are built in to the bedroom TVs in Elliott House, The Dairy, Basement, Amber Lodge and South Wing.  Bludio devices are also provided in the lounge of each property. (Not for use outside)

Yes.  All properties have their own wireless broadband.

The password for this is in the welcome folder in the houses.

Yes.  Due to health and safety only our on-site barbeque kits can be used throughout the site.

Use of any other barbeque is not permitted.

BBQ pack can be purchased at a cost of £25.00 which includes grills, utensils, charcoal, lighter blocks and a safety lighter.  The items are delivered in a trolley which can be loaded with your food items and taken to the barbeque area.

Yes. Please inform your delivery driver of the individual house name to ensure correct delivery, giving them the Oakerthorpe Holiday Village number to help with their delivery directions if necessary.

Yes. Travel cots (frame only) and high chairs can be rented. The price is £10 per item per stay

Yes. We can put you in touch with local caterers / chefs upon request.

The welcome folders in the houses provide a range of local information, places to visit and local walks.

The deposit is refundable 14 days after your departure as long as there are no breakages or damage to the property or contents.  Should there be any damage you will be informed within 7 days with a description of the damage, photos as applicable and the proposed withhold, note we will never deduct your deposit without this procedure being carried out.
