The nearest town is Alfreton which has a 24 hour Tesco which is 10 minutes drive away.
The local village of Shirland and South Wingfield have their own shops which are some 5 minutes drive away. (30 minute walk)
Yes. All properties have their own wireless broadband.
The password for this is in the welcome folder in the houses.
Yes. Due to health and safety only our on-site barbeque kits can be used throughout the site.
Use of any other barbeque is not permitted.
BBQ pack can be purchased at a cost of £30.00 which includes grills, utensils, charcoal, lighter blocks and a safety lighter. The items are delivered in a trolley which can be loaded with your food items and taken to the barbeque area.
Yes. Please inform your delivery driver of the individual house name to ensure correct delivery, giving them the Oakerthorpe Holiday Village number to help with their delivery directions if necessary.
Deliveries must only be made to your property and not to the surrounding houses. Our neighbours are private residences and we would like to respect their privacy.
Yes. Travel cots (frame only) and high chairs can be rented. The price is £10 per item per stay
Due to health and safety we are unable to provide linen for the travel cots.
Yes. We can put you in touch with local caterers / chefs upon request.
Yes, pets are very welcome.
We ask that pets are always supervised and not left unattended in the properties.
Pets must be kept on the lead in the communal areas.
Owners must clear up after their dogs immediately and dispose using the dog waste bins on site.
The pet fee is £50 per dog.
